Nopalitos are tender chopped pear cactus plants. Don't worry, we take all the needles off. The makers of DOÑA MARÍA® products harvest its nopalitos from San Luis Potosí in central Mexico. They are seasoned naturally with onions, serrano peppers and cilantro, creating a fresh, homemade flavor. Nopalitos also are delicious substitutes for meat in casseroles and during the Lenten season.
Ingredients: tender cactus, water, onions, cilantro, serrano peppers, iodized salt, distilled vinegar and 0.1% of sodium benzoate (as a preservative).
