Long-sliced jalapeño peppers marinated in vinegar with onions, carrot slices, and basil. Jalapenos are probably the best known peppers to Americans. They can be added to any dish to enhance its flavor. Jalapenos do not overpower a dish, but only add spiciness. Medium green in color with rounded tips and a firm texture, jalapenos are not the hottest peppers available, but they certainly do the trick.
Use them as a condiment during meals, or they are perfect for use in cooking or topping your dishes.
